个人简介：

吴强，男，博士，中国科学技术大学管理学院教授（二级），博士生导师，中国科学技术大学第十一届学术委员会委员。科研工作集中于科技管理和学术评估领域，首次提出“W指数”(w index)、“独奏式引用”(solo citations)、“颠覆性成果系列评价指标”、“马修迹象”(Matthew phenomena)、“引用个人展示”(citation personal display)、“合并预印本引用”等具有较高理论价值和较强应用前景的新概念和新方法，学术成果不断发表在JASIST、Scientometrics、Information Processing & Management、Journal of Informetrics、Journal of Documentation、Journal of Information Science 等顶级刊物上，在国内外产生了较大反响，为推动科学计量学与信息计量学的发展做出了一定的贡献。

○ 提出的W指数在国际学术评价领域得到一定程度的应用并按照姓氏被命名为Wu-index。国际著名经济研究数据库RePEc/IDEAS每个月都会采用Wu-index对注册的7万多名经济管理学家（包括诺贝尔经济学奖获得者）进行排名，从2008年8月至2025年11月已经连续公布208份月度排名，参见https://ideas.repec.org/top/top.person.windex.html。

○ 世界著名学术机构英国物理学会（IOP）对W指数进行了专门报道，题目是"What's your Wu-index ?"，参见http://physicsworld.com/a/whats-your-wu-index。

○ 美国艺术与科学院院士、麻省理工学院Glenn Ellison教授已经撰写学术论文“How does the market use citation data? The Hirsch index in economics”，从实证角度证明了W 指数比H指数更有效，是最好的定量学术评价指标。学术评估领域著名学者Leo Egghe曾在Journal of Informetrics和领域顶级国际会议ISSI上分别发文“Characterizations of the generalized Wu- and Kosmulski-indices in Lotkaian systems”和“Mathematical characterizations of the Wu- and Hirsch-indices using two types of minimal increments”，从标题中即可看出这些论文都是专门研究Wu-index特性的论文。

○ 指导的博士毕业生（管理科学与工程专业），2名获得中国科学院院长奖，1名获得中国科学技术大学优秀博士学位论文提名奖。
