互联网广告、在线教育、游戏化、聊天机器人、社交推荐

通常在在线平台中实施大规模的数字化实验，验证设计的有效性。在进行数字化实验时，主要采用以下三种途径：1. 将设计嵌入到自己开发的平台中（比如www.ilikeabc.com, Smart Pal APP, www.smartpal.chat）；2. 通过调用API，将设计嵌入到主流商业平台中（比如将聊天机器人通过API 嵌入到Slack和Canvas中）；3. 与商业平台合作（如中国平安、亮亮科技、www.classviva.org, Tulip Sports, 跃程网络等）
