Dr. Manawar is a dedicated geophysicist and international scholar from Pakistan, holding a Doctorate in Solid Earth Physics (Geophysics) from the prestigious Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IGG-CAS), supported by the ANSO Scholarship for outstanding talent. He has a strong international academic foundation, with advanced degrees from top institutions in Pakistan and China, complemented by specialized training from academic bodies in the United Kingdom and China in remote sensing, energy systems, earthquake seismology and petroleum geoscience. Possesses diverse professional experience, having led the Petroleum Department at a engineering institute in Pakistan overseeing curriculum design, faculty management, and academic strategy and having undertaken technical training within the oil and gas industry through a national youth training scheme. He is an active contributor to the global scientific community, regularly presenting his research at major forums such as the Chinese Geoscience Union Annual Meeting and the Oil and Gas Geophysics Professionals Conference, and receiving recognition including the “Best Innovation Award” at an international summer school. His research focuses on the integration of statistical methods and machine learning into applied geophysical studies.
