Prior to joining USTC, Dr. Li conducted postdoctoral research in Finance at the Business School of The University of Hong Kong. He holds a Ph.D. from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, a Master’s degree from Tsinghua University, and a Bachelor’s degree from Southeast University.

Dr. Li has has extensive experience in financial industry in Hong Kong, having worked at Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Asia) and China CITIC Bank, where he was responsible for developing AI algorithms and risk management systems.

His research interests include network economics, FinTech, and risk management.

In 2025, as a mentor, Dr. Li led a student team to win the National Grand Prize in the "China Economic and Technology Society Artificial Intelligence Application Innovation Competition" and was recognized as an Outstanding Mentor.

Dr. Li welcomes exchanges and collaborations from both academic and industry circles to jointly explore new possibilities in smart finance and digital economy development in the era of AI.
